You can't do that. The only options for customizing the ToDo Bar are shown
when you right-click on the header row of the calendar section or the task
pane section. For the calendar you can only show/not show the calendar and
select the number of appointments shown.

These are recurring appointments if it makes any difference. Maybe
everyone just leaves the ToDo Bar closed and just waits for a popup
reminder---
