Hi Al:

The only way to do that would be to right click on the newsgroup having the
problem and under Properties, select Reset and then redownload all the
messages involved. If you have the View set to Show All and are not
"hiding" read messages, it should appear. Any chance you could have clicked
on "Catch Up" at some time after posting and before reading the message?
Or, are you reading the newsgroup on Comcast's news provider vs. using the
msnews.microsoft.com server? Not all servers hosting the groups maintain
older messages for the same period of time as Microsoft does.

I would assume the post appears correctly in your Sent Items folder?
