Default MS Exchange - auto forwarding to external email addresses

On your Exchange Server computer, open System Manager, go to 'Global
settings|Internet Message Formats|Default|Properties|Advanced tab' and add a
checkmark to the "Allow automatic forwards" checkbox.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/266166/en-us
Automatic replies and automatic forwards to Internet recipients are disabled
in Exchange 2000 Server and in Exchange Server 2003

Auto forwarding to external email addresses is blocked/disabled by MS

Outlook
Exchange as a default on installation.

Our business model requires auto-forwarding to home email addresses out of
business hours for certain topics e.g H&S issues.

Our server admin team does not know where to find the enable option under
the server's admin function.

Could anyone please point them in the right direction?

Many thanks
