Default Your outlook 2003 installation is crap and service is terrible.

Tried to install your outlook 2003

Who's "your"? It is rare indeed for anyone working for Microsoft to visit
these newsgroups.

and have spent two days trying to
get all the aspects to work. Keep getting an error message when I
start up that an add-in cannot be found yet I installed Office
Professional 2003, reinstalled it, ran the "fix" in the help menu 3
times and nothing seems to interfere with that message popping up.

Perhaps if you were to post some details, like the exact text of the error,
someone might be able to help.

Next, tried to do an export to csv file for contacts and then tried to
import that file to my hotmail. You guessed it, that didn't work
either.

Are you using a paid Hotmail account? Are you using the Outlook Connector?

Simply put, they
are just too complicated for anyone other than a magician to figure
out.

Since many non-magical people have figured it out, your statement is false.

And if that is not enough, your calendar just will not sync with a
handheld Blackberry. What should be a simple operation is again just
too complicated to get to work.

Blackberry synching is problematic because Blackberry's software does not
deal with Outlook well. There can be additional problems depending on the
Outlook account type and as of yet, you've not given any details in that
regard.

And finally, when I go to get help, I see that you charge $35 just to
answer the e-mail or the phone call. That is adding insult to injury.

New licenses include free support during the warranty period, no different
than for, say, an automobile you purchase. Once the warranty period is
over, you must pay for support exactly as you must pay your auto mechanic
once your car's warranty has expired.

In short, I am not at all happy with Outlook and understand now why
many companies turn to Lotus Notes. They have the solution, you
simply do not.

Your inability to understand the product is not under Microsoft's control.
If Outlook does not suit you, do not use it.
