Alonzo, this is a newsgroup, it is NOT like email.
These messages are permanently posted to a server until the server deletes
them, usually for busy Microsoft Newsgroups this is done after a couple of
months. Unless you have read all of the messages the only thing on your
machine will be copies of the headers. If you DO read all of the messages
they will also be stored on your own machine. Either way, unless you have an
older machine with a very small drive this is not a huge problem in terms of
space, Newsgroups usually contain only plan text messages and no attachments
etc.
If you do not want to read any more in this group you can "Unsubscribe" but
this will not delete anything or recover any disk space on your machine, to
do that you will have to locate the file any read messages have been stored
in and delete it yourself. To be honest for the couple of megabytes it has
likely used it is not worth your time to bother, just unsubscribe, but read
up on outlook express here for more details.

Would you be so kind and delete my 595 messages that I can't delete
please. When I go to the group, it won't let me delete at all.
Thanks!
