Default adding a new account

Why are you using SSL to begin with? Who told you to do that? There are
very few providers who require secure connections. ATT Global has a
website offering users info about how to set up an email account in
Outlook Express. Have you looked at that info?

I added a new account to outlook express. When I try to download email I
get the following message:

The server does not support a SSL connection. Account: 'ATT GLOBAL',
Server: 'asmtp.attglobal.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250
HELP', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number:
0x800CCC7D

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'ATT GLOBAL', Server:
'popa.attglobal.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

What can I do to resolve this?
