Ok I see its been a while this discussion has ended but I post here an
answer the same so ppl like me will find the appropriate solution if
they come here :
The problem is that mcafee (and probably other antivirus softs) wants
to check the incoming mails before they get into outlook so mcafee
changes the outlook settings to make it check for the emails locally
(localhost) and gets the emails from the servers itself (and serv them
to outlook). The problem happens when msafee does'nt have the password
to acces the email account. It does'nt prompt for it and outlook bacome
unable to connect and get the messages.
Solution : in mcafee change the mail accounts settings by going to
spamkillr - settings - email accounts - edit (for each account) ind
giving the password.
Thats all (probably for other antivirus its the same concept but
different way to configure).
