Default Outlook vs. Verizon.Yahoo

Outlook is a program you install that can process e-mail (read, send,
organize, filter, etc.) from your e-mail accounts, among many other
things that Outlook can do. Yahoo! Mail is an e-mail account.

If you want to access Outlook from a remote location, basically you need
to leave your computer running and install software and hardware that
allows you to connect to your computer from another computer. If all you
want to do is to access mail from your Yahoo! account, that is something
you can do from any computer that is connected to the internet, since
Yahoo! offers a web-based e-mail service.

What is the relationship between outlook and my verizon.yahoo email account?

Emails are not available in my verizon.yahoo account and yet show up in
outlook?

Also how can I access my outlook account from a remote computer (at work)?
