Default Cancel a meeting resource without sending update to all

I did open the meeting and I deleted the conference room not needed. However,
when I closed the meeting I was not prompted to send an update to the
resource. Did I "remove" it the wrong way by deleting?

As the organizer, open the meeting on your calendar and remove the conference room not needed. Close it and you should be prompted to only send the update to the resource.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, sitkacat asked:
