Can the vista fax/scan service be installed in XP Pro?

Thanks for the info. FWIW, Vista Fax will support forwarding a fax as
email.

Thanks for the reply. We found software that does if anyone is
interested. http://www.electrasoft.com/32bf.htm Works like a charm.

If you are saying you want to forward a fax as an email, Windows XP
Fax
does
not support that.

I would like to use one pc \ on our network to handle all recieved
faxes, however I Would like to send a copy of the recieved fax to a
certain email account on exchange server.
One desktop PC running XP Pro with a modem deticated to faxing (we
only
recieve faxes never send)

Using the fax console Tools Configure Fax... I see a box that
says
Store a copy in a folder...

Is there a way to map it to a certain email account on our exchange
server?

If not is there software that we can use? We do not want to run it
on
the exchange server persay.
Thank you.
