Yes, a mailbox is created on the server. As I mentioned, it works to access
the user's mailbox from XP.

What specific WINS configuration is needed? How can I test to see if WINS is
properly working?

as client, I receive an error message titled "Microsoft Exchange" stating
"The name could
not be resolved. The operation failed." when I click on Check Name
button. Is there anything that I am overlooking not abling me to connect

95 clients without any problems. Problem with older Outlook clients are
their lack of security features that are included in newer versions.

What type of mail client are you using on the windows 98 plarform - this
is the software talking to the exchange server.
