I'm not sure what your friend is doing in his mail program,. You might
ask him. Typically an EML attachment is a message that was forwarded (In
OE that would be Message, Forward as Attachment). It can also occur if
the sender attaches a received message to an outgoing message.

I've composed a short text OE6 as .rtf (10.0kb) and sent it as an

to a friend. He uses Mozilla and when he copies me with that attachment

is as an .eml file (seemingly a properly packaged email with headers).
And I
can't open it.
The error message points me to the 'Folder Options' within Control
Panel,
but I can't work out how to tweak those options so that I can open/view
the
.eml attachment.
Any thoughts?
