Default Cancel a meeting resource without sending update to all

The version is Outlook 2003. I did check the resource and the meeting still
appeared on its calendar. And, of course, I could not delete it manually.

No, but have you checked the resource to see if it has been cancelled? (what versions of Outlook and Exchange are we using here, by the way?)

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, sitkacat asked:

| I did open the meeting and I deleted the conference room not needed.
| However, when I closed the meeting I was not prompted to send an
| update to the resource. Did I "remove" it the wrong way by deleting?
