Default SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

X-post to IE General & OE6.

Oh, for...

You uninstall IE7 via Add/Remove Programs, Pam. Look for "Windows Internet
Explorer 7" in the list.

Short answer: Ignore the warnings.

Long answer:

QP
Regarding the warning that appears when we uninstall IE7 mentioning programs
that may stop working if IE7 is removed, that warning is related to the
dangers discussed here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823836) . I agree,
the warning is confusing too many users and I am inclined to feel that the
warning should be removed as too confusing/frightening...

First, sorry for the double post. I realized once I clicked OK that I had
posted in Outlook Express discussion INSTEAD of the discussion for IE6.
I'm
very sorry.

Please read this post from bottom to top to understand my problem.

This was the original post on the IE7 Discussion Board. (By the way, I
know
Ray has been helpful, but I need an answer right away because I'm working
from my laptop now and with my business cannot do that for too much
longer)

The bottom line is now that when I click the icon on my computer to go to
the internet, it’s blank!

When I click the Outlook Express icon on my computer to open it, it
won’t!

I tried to install my Windows XP disk to download IE again, but it said
that
I need to install the SP2 disk also. I don’t have that!!!

All I wanted was someone to help me delete the IE7 that was still in my
Add/Remove section so that I could get back to IE6.

Help, please!
