MailItem.Move
Hey All, I'm developing shared AddIn for Outlook 2003, C# 2.0. The scenario: i subscribed to Item Add event for 'My Folder'. i open Otulook (AddIn is loaded) and psysically move item from 'Inbox' folder to 'My Folder'. in the code: i catched the 'Item add' event, and want to know from wchich fodler item was dragged/moved. I wonder if there any solution for that???, cause mailItem 'Parent' property pointed me to current folder the item present. Thanks for advance. |
MailItem.Move
You can't get the original folder from the ItemAdd() event in the target
folder. You'd need to subscribe to ItemRemove() in any possible source folder. That fires after the item was removed, and doesn't tell you what was removed, but it will provide a clue as to which folder an item was removed from. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007.
