Ok, I ran a search of "duplicates" and found several similar questions
as mine, dating back many years, but no answers. Hopefully, someone will respond. I'm running Windows XP/sp2, and upgraded ActiveSync 3.5 to 4.5 for use with my Windows Mobile 6.5. After the upgrade to 4.5, I discovered duplicate entries in my Outlook 2007 calendar and tasks, on both my PC and my phone (HTC Touch). I reinstalled the software on the phone to remove all tasks and calendar entries, and I manually removed all duplicate tasks on my PC. The calendar on my PC is extensive however, so can someone tell me how to remove these duplicates. Thanks in advance. |

either use a duplicate remover tool or add the modified field to the all
appointments view and sort by it. All the appointments duplicated by the sync should have the same last modified time. That worked. I used ODIR.exe and was able to delete all my duplicate appointments and tasks. However, I notice I have many duplicate To Dos, and ODIR doesn't offer that option. I did some research but couldn't find an answer. I did read that I apparently and unknowingly flagged a bunch of Tasks, which then created my ToDos. So, is there an easy way to remove all the flags from my Tasks so I don't have so many To Dos? Again, your help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
