Does Outlook have to be open for my calendar reminders to pop up?
I have an issue with my outlook. WE are currenlty using 2003 and every one
else's reminder's pop up 30 or so minutes before theactual appoinment begins but mine doesn't. It used to but some how stopped and i dont know why. I have been trying to figure out a way to get them to pop up againbut the only time they pop up is when i completely turn off my computer and open outlook they show up. Does anyone know how to fix this???? "Bill" wrote: When i set reminders for events on Microsoft Outlook Calendar, they only pop up if I have the program open. When I used to use the old Microsift Works calendar, the reminders would occur even if Microsoft Works was not open. How can I ensure that reminders will be ubiquitous? |
Does Outlook have to be open for my calendar reminders to pop
Funny, I used to get pop up reminders with my Outlook 2003, but no longer get
them in 2007--even if I have the program open and minimized. Has anyone from Microsoft addressed this question yet? I can't find any option settings regarding reminders.
