I need to send out appointment requests to a number of people but only allow
the users to read the entry and not modify the date and time of the
appointments. Is this possible?

I don't want to share my calendar or view there calendar.

I don't want to have to use any programming languages either, if possible.

Please help!

Simply decline to accept any changes they request.

Bob

Thanks for taking time to reply but this does not work. The people invited,
can still change the date and time of the meeting on there calendars. I
don't want this.

I need the ability to make all the appointments read only without access to
anyones calendar or without giving anyone access to my calendar.

Is this possible by reworking the Appointment form and setting a read only
prompt??

Thanks for your help.

There's no way for you to prevent people from changing things on their own
computers.

It's their calendar, you don't have any control over it, and no you
can't make appointments on their calendar read only. The only way you
can do what you envision is to create a public Shared calendar that you
are the owner of and give them read-only rights to it and put the
appointments on that. Of course they can still ignore the calendar.
