Default problem viewing past reoccurred appointments

Hi,
Good day to you all

I am new to this would you please be gentle

I am using outlook 2007 on windows 2007

When I create an appointment for a client in the calendar and make it reoccur. Once the fist appointment has past it creates the reoccurrence, however I am unable to view past appointments which I have with my clients
Outlook just shows the current appointment that is due
Once the appointment has reoccurred, I am assuming this is something very simple and I am missing something

Thanks in advance

William
