I have a user who would like to have both her default calendar and a shared
calendar display when she opens her Calendar view in Outlook 2003. She has
the shared calendar in her "My Calendars" list, and she can enable both
checkboxes, but when she closes then re-opens Outlook, only the default
calendar is checked (and viewed). She wants the shared calendar to remain
checked and be viewed with the default calendar when she opens her
calendars in Outlook. Is this possible?

Right click on the calendar the user wants to open on start up from the
Other Calendars window. Select "open in new window." Close the original
Outlook using the File-Exit command, NOT the X. The next time OUtlook
opens, both calendars will open.

Yes, that did work - thanks for the tip. But my user would like the Other
Calendar to open in the regular view, next to the default calendar. Is
there a way to do this?
