How did I lose ability to add appointments to Outlook calendar

One user is unable to add new calendar events. Nor is he able to see any new
events to which he was invited and accepted. Everything was working fine
after the upgrade to Office 2003...but he has evidently changed something.

Do you use Exchange Server or another provider?

Is it possible that the user has changed his "system" folders by
selecting to have his mail delivered to a pst?

Has that user tried rebooting Windows?
