Can you place text in a calendar box? If so, how? I just want to type in a
note directly onto a calendar box without doing some mumbo jumbo appointment
thingie.

Thanks in advance,

John

Nope, you need to create a 'mumbo jumbo appointment thingie'. It can be a
zero time 'thingie' or an all-day 'thingie'. Whichever suits your time
management style or needs. I usually opt for the zero time option

Hey thanks Vince. Sorry about the poor choice of words but it's as close as
I could get to all the description. It really would be nice to simply post a
note on any one day as well wouldn't it?

Thanks again

John

Hi ChessNut,
If you view your calendar in month-view (31), and you left click on a day,
and just start typing, you will see the text appear, then just hit enter.
This actually does create an appointment, but you don't even have to see the
appointment box. If you do Open the appointment you just created (the
easiest way is to right-click on it, then select Open), you will see that the
"appointment" is an "all-day", but that your time is still shown as "free"
(at least that is the way that my defaulting behavior works) - so this "text"
won't interfere with any scheduling you might be doing.
