Outlook should allow conversion of Email text to a Calendar entry
I get a lot of emails in Outlook alerting me to upcoming meetings with the
time, date, place, etc. It would be nice to highlight the relevant text, and have a wizard automatically sift through the text, pick out the salient details, and convert the text to a new item in my Outlook calendar. As it is, I have to do a lot of copying and pasting. This would save time. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Outlook should allow conversion of Email text to a Calendar entry
Why not just right click and drag the email to the calendar and select "copy
here as appointment with text?" Alternatively, write a little code that you can run on these items to pull the information and populate an appointment item. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
