Showing Linked Contact on Appointment Form

Is there any way of automatically showing the name of the linked contact in
the subject line of Appointment Form? Outlook CRM from Teamscope has done it
for a couple of years.

The solution would involve writing code, either behind a custom appointment form or in an Outlook add-in.

This is something that would help us, too; could you possibly post a link or
point us in the direction of a "how-to" guide for dummies like us?

The sample at http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=566 shows how to update a task with the company name of a linked contact using VBA code. The technique for your scenario would be similar.

I try to stay away from custom appointment forms. They have too many quirks for my taste./

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/vbabasics.htm for starter info.
