custome calendar view
I have creatd a custom view in a public calendar on my exchange 2003 server,
using Outlook 2003 sp2. Is the view saved on my machine as a file? and if so can i take this and apply this calendar view to another exchange 2003 sp2 server? Thanks |

If you created the view with the scope "on this folder visible to everyone," then it is stored as a hidden item in that folder. If you want to copy it to another folder, you can use the File | Folder | Copy FOlder Definition command.

It's a little involved. First, you need to create a new .pst file. Then, create a folder for each different type of folder whose views you need to copy. Switch into say, the mail/post folder. Choose File | Folder | COpy Folder Design and select the folder whose views you want to copy.
Reverse the process on the other end. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "skip" wrote in message ... Only the folder can make permanent changes in a view.
