Default Outlook Calendar to Access

This is my sceanario... We have a public calendar on our company's server.
People throughout the company schedule appts on the public calander. I want
to be able tally the differ appts that are made. I was hoping to export the
data into access, but I believe I can't export an Outlook Public Calendar.
If that's correct, does anyone have any suggestions for me on the best way I
can get tally's on appt's in a public calendar. Thanks!

I have cut and pasted a Table View (eg By Category) into Excel and then
totalled columns - I hope that helps a bit.

Are you saying you cut and pasted a table view of your OUTLOOK calendar or
ACCESS? I know how to get EXCEL and ACCESS data swapped. I'm trying to get
my OUTLOOK data into ACCESS. Is there a way of getting a table view of my
outlook calendar?

Use a table view of the Calendar (By Category) and select a slab of it
(shift click). Then Ctrl C to copy. Open Excel and Ctrl V to paste it.
That's how to get it into Excel.

It's all very well answering your questions on how to do things the way you
think is best, but let's also see if there''s an alternative method.
so...... point me in the right direction...... What do you want to do with
the data from the Calendar???? And DON"T just say you want to get it into
Access. Why, for what purpose?
