How do I go right to the group of letters in the Contact Section?

I used to be able to type in 'r' in the contact section and it would take me
right to them. I don't know what happened but now I have to click on the
letter on the right side of the page to move me to the groupings of letters.

Can someone tell me what I can do to just type in the letter again and go
directly to the groups of letters?
