How do I put the name of the day, i.e. Sunday, beside the date?

I would like my Calendar to give me the name of the day, ie Sunday, Monday,
etc, alongside the date; I can't find any way to do this.

Control Panel's Regional and Language settings control this. Change the
Long date format.
