How do I stop the automatic birthday reminders?

These just showed up and I don't want them. I want other reminders obviously
but not all these...

How do I stop the automatic birthday reminders?

Don't use the Birthday field on the contact form. Put the contact's birthday
in another field instead, such as the message area on the first tab of the
contact form.
