Creating Shared Calendar in Outlook 2003 without Exchange Server

Can anyone assist with information pertaining to how I can share a
common calendar within Outlook 2003 in a small LAN without an exchange
server.

All information I have found to day seems to assume an exchange server
is configured within the mix of computers within the LAN.
