Default why can't I print the shaded category box for an appointment

In outlook 2007 I no longer can print the shaded category box when I print
my monthly calendar page. The box shows up in the print preview, but not on
the page when actually printed. Is there a setting that turns this on and
off?

YOu might want to try the Outlook Calendar Printing Assistant available for Outlook 2007 from Microsoft Office downloads. It is highly custoimizable and solves a number of the limitations in Outlook Calendar printing.

I have tried that, but the category colors don't transfer to any of the
layouts.
