I have an issue with dismissing recurring calendar events when using two
computers (laptop and desktop), both running Outlook Connector. Laptop has
Vista RC1 and the latest Office 2007 Trial. Desktop has XP Pro and Outlook
2003. Outlook Connector is V 1.8. Had the same problem before using any
Office 2007 products. Saw the same issue was noted back in July, 2006 from
another user with no responses. His input repeated here as I have exactly
the same problem.

This subject is similar BelindaCRs but different enough to warrant a new
thread. I have a desktop and laptop comuter and I use Outlook Live 2003 with
Outlook Connector to access my Hotmail account. If I only use one of the two
computers I don't have a problem, but if I go to Outlook on the second
computer all of the recurring reminders that I dismissed on the other
computer reappear. Now, this only happens with appointments (annual events,
such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) that I want to be recurring. If I
dismiss the reminders on the second computer then reopen Outlook on the first
computer the same reminders reappear. The dismissed reminders continue to
reappear and never go away. If I do not turn on the second computer the
dismissed reminders to not reappear on the first computer. They only reappear
if I turn on the second computer.
