Default When I edit a calendar event, it automatically puts a recurrence

I edit an existing calendar event, add a note, change the date, or just open
it to edit it. Once I close it, a recurrence is attached to the event. How
do I stop this from happening?

If your PC is a Dell you may have a pre-installed piece of software called
"outlookaddinnsetup" if you unistall it your probem will go away.
