Staff Holiday Calander using Outlook?

Can any one help. I am trying to use Outlook calander to create a central
calander for staff. I have set the calander up as a resource and people post
a request to it. There are some little issues such as when the applicants
request has been rejected the meeting request does not remove itself from the
applicants calander. Any help please?
