delete appoints

My employer is asking that we reduce our Outlook storage on the server by not
keeping e-mails and by deleting past appointments from our Outlook calendars.
Can I set Outlook 2003 to automatically delete past appoinments on a regular
basis so that I do not have to individually delete every single appointment?
It is partiularly annoying because many of the appointments are recurring.

AutoArchive can delete messsages or you can archive them to a PST for later
retrieval if you wish.

Autoarchive won't archive recurring appointments.
