Appointment Problem

When I view an appointment in one of our Public Folder Calendars, it shows up
on my Outlook Calendar. Also, when I accept any new appointment, it becomes a
recurring appointment. This behavior is happening to me an another user at my
location, both of which just received new Dell Inspiron 9400s.

Please help - we are going crazing going to appointments that don't exist
(or we weren't invited to).

THANK YOU!

Open Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs and uninstall
"outlookaddinsetup"

What is outlookaddinsetup? Will anything else be affected?

From what I've seen, it's a program left over from Dell's preconfigure of
the PC. It shouldn't affect anything else.

i've removed outlookaddinsetup, and still get appointments on my calendar
from our public calendar. Still testing the recurrence problem. Please
advise. THANK YOU

I don't know of anything that would cause a message in a public calendar to
be placed in a private calendar automatically. Make sure you don't have any
add-ins.
