All calendar events display on the current day

When I enter an event for any day past or future in the calendar (Office
2003) it displays on the current day. I have opened the event and changed the
date, but the event still displays on the current day after a save/close.
This was very annoying when I imported the holidays and every holiday for the
next 3 years was listed on the same day.
