appointment remainders

Hi,

I am unable to open or make new appointments in my calendar. I do not
receive any remainders either. This is the message I receive when I try and
open an appointment.

Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the
specified folder location.

Can anyone help me
