Please don't hate me becaue I am ignorant.
I've done this before, but have been yanking my hair out trying to remember. All I need is to have the Month view the default view when I open my calendar - not the day view. I know there is a way, but I have been unable to find one. I am using MS Office 2003. Thanks in advance for any help. Van |

Are you using a shortcut to start Outlook? If yes, then inspect the shortcut to see if there are parameters that would cause it to start in day view. Otherwise, try starting Outlook one time with the /cleanviews switch.

Can you explain the cleanviews switch? I've not heard of it before.

Start-Run-outlook.exe /cleanviews Note the space before the /. For details on command line switches in Outlook, open Help and type in "additional command line switches" - some of them are lifesavers.
