More information, please...Outlook version? Personal Folders or Exchange
Mailbox? How many items already in the Calendar folder? -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "suzyCS" wrote: When I pick a date and type in an item on the caledar in Outlook it will not let me save it. Can't save on my Calendar
I think it is the latest...I'm not sure. Don't know where to look. I cannot
save information in the contact list past the first page (such as birthdates) and if I try to type an item in for tomorrow's date, it won't let me save it. I do have some things on my calendar back a year when I started using Outlook. Should I go back and erase those. Just one or two on a page. Can't save on my Calendar
Now you're mentioning two different folders and types of items...Calendar and
Contacts. You're having trouble with Contacts also? To find your version of Outlook, click the Help menu, then click About Microsoft Office Outlook (older versions will just say About Microsoft Outlook). -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "suzyCS" wrote: I think it is the latest...I'm not sure. Outlook 2k3 Calendar problem
I have a client that is having the same problem. We are on Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003, and anytime she tries to enter in a new appointment under her default profile calender, she gets the message "cannot save item".
For now I have her using the calendar under her personal folders, but only until I get this resolved. I have been unsuccesful in finding anything really helpful on the net about this. Thanks, RC EggHeadCafe.com - .NET Developer Portal of Choice http://www.eggheadcafe.com |
Outlook 2k3 Calendar problem
Has she closed and restarted Outlook and rebooted her PC lately? You might
look at the Windows Task Manager after she closes Outlook and see if something is keeping it open -- possibly a 3rd party add-in. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Rod C" wrote: I have a client that is having the same problem.
