Default Adding additional text to an appointment in addition to the subjec

I will be migrating to Outlook 2003 shortly and following a pilot test of
the prouct find that the calendar facility is restricting conpared with
Microsoft Schedule +.

As a Training Manager I utilise the calendar to manage 3 training rooms.
All students attending training daily are entered into the training room
calendar and are visible immediatly when viewing that calendar.

Outlook is only allowing text within the subject field of the appoitment and
only the subject is visible when viewing the calendar.

So what happens when you open the appointment and try to add text to its body?

Thanks for respnding - within Microsoft Schedule+ I am able to enter details
directly into the weekly calendar with click and drag and it is visible to
all persons viewing the calendar at a glance.

Within Outlook, detail cannot be entered directly into the appointment other
than the subject field (this is the only visible text when viewing the weekly
calendar).

I want to be able to click and drag the duration of a training course and
enter text immediatly. I do not want to have to open the appointment
everytime I need to enter information or to view information.

I think you already known the answer to your question: Outlook is not Schedule+ and does things differently. You will need to open the appointment to type in its body. Users will be able to see at least some of the text in the daily calendar if they use the Day/Week/Month with AutoPreview view.
