Outlook 2007 not displaying Reminder Icons
Sorry.. I was referring to this post...
Outlook 2007 not displaying Reminder Icon - Steve30 12-Mar-07 03:20:08 None of my events display the reminder icon in the Day or Week calendars as they did in Outlook 2002. This is a problem because I cannot tell if the reminder is set properly without opening the event details. Event doing that is a problem because the new layout and color scheme make it difficult to find the right information. Is there an option to place the reminder icon on each event now? That's Outlook 2007! I think they will show in a table-based view.

Display the Advanced Toolbar then choose a view such as All Appointments,
Active Appointments, Events, By Category .... Those views simply give a list of Appointments in a "Table" (basically just a list). You can create your own table-based views via View | Current View | Customize Current View. Really, I think we need that icon in the view you are using and I hope it is added in a later update. -- Bill R "Jim Hansen" wrote in message ... Who designed this stuff? What planet are they from?
Seriously, you think any of those views are anywhere close to the 2003 week view? Again Microsoft developers over think a simple thing. SIMPLE! That's all that is needed here. This is going to be a total nightmare for support at Bank of America. We have over 200,000 users that are going to be screaming at support for answers and we won't be able to give them any reasonable answers. First quarter 2008 when we start pushing Office 2007 to the general associate base is going to be one heck of a challenge if we can't find a reasonably solution. Microsoft should push out a way to get a compact week view just like the one in 2003. This should never have been removed from Outlook. -- Jim Hansen "BillR [MVP]" wrote: Display the Advanced Toolbar then choose a view such as All Appointments, Active Appointments, Events, By Category .... The views are much the same. the omission is that icon.
If you feel so strongly about it then fire off an email or contact Microsoft directly. There might be room for a change in a Service Pack. -- Bill R "Jim Hansen" wrote in message ... Maybe my colleges and I are just crazy, but we all feel the same and we have
over 200,000 users we are pushing this to. It is difficult to believe that someone who has used the week view in office 2003 could say that the week view in office 2007 if much the same. Yes we will be talking to the Office team directly. Thank you for your time. -- Jim Hansen "BillR [MVP]" wrote: The views are much the same. the omission is that icon.
