Calendar won't print
Until today I could print my calendar. Now when I try to print it hangs up.
I can't get to preview either. Is there a driver missing or corrupted? Thanks pamdiver |
Calendar won't print
The President of our company is having the exact same issue when trying to
print in monthly view only. I did find a temporary workaround until I get some feedback on this from MS. Outlook 2007 on WinXP Pro All updates installed Symantec AV CE 10.1 HP 4M Printer (connected via local TCP/IP) Here's what I've done so far. None of these have worked. -uninstalled Symantec AV -diabled cached exchange -changed printers -renamed .ost file -work in offline mode -c:\windows\system32\fixmapi.exe So I found out that you can print in monthly view by doing the following. Change calendar view to weekly In the Print Window, change selection from Weekly View to Monthly View Doing this will print the calendar perfectly. I tried doing this while in Daily View instead of weekly but it crashed too. It appears there is an issue with those specific Calendar modules. The Calendar Print Assistant/Wizard does allow to print monthly, but that is nothing more than an aesthtic tool/band-aid. I have Office 2007 as well & do not have this issue. But it seems that it's been sprouting up with a number of people this past week (when his issue began). Maybe one of the MS security updates messed this up. I know that when IE7 was released there were all kinds of problem with Outlook (which have now been cleared up thankfully). "pamdiver" wrote: Until today I could print my calendar. Thanks for the info. After I posted my inquiry, I ran the office diagnostic
tool. After that my started printing. So I don't know what it changed, but so far so good. Thanks for the heads up on this. I totally overlooked running that. I'd
still be really interested if MS would explain as to why this happened in the first place. Just for piece of mind. thanks again! "pamdiver" wrote: Thanks for the info.
