Group Calendar or Company Calender
I would like to setup a public calendar for my group that will display
everyone's meetings on one calendar. Currently we have a public calender that everyone has to copy their meetings onto, and then go back and update both if anything changes. Any ideas? Thanks |

You're already taking that I believe to be the best approach. Have a look at Group Schedules (on versions 2002, 2003 and 2007). These
show you what's on people's Calendars. Group Calendar or Company Calender
We have 2003, and I went and setup the group schedule. But the team members
that have been added do not show the details when they open it, they can only see free/busy for everyone else. Each of us can see the details of our own schedule, but not anyone elses, and none of them are set to private. Is there an option to change this? Group Calendar or Company Calender
When a team uses Outlook and Exchange, the Group Schedules will enbale them
to see each other's Free/Busy data. They will also see the details of their own meetings (as they have Permission to do so). To see details of other people's meetings they will need to give each team member Permission to their Calendar. With Permissions given, what happens is that all meetings, apart from those marked Private, are now able to be seen by the whole team. I hope that clarifies how it works.
