Default Calendar format changed and can't save it

For years, my calendar format has remained the same, showing a 7-day week.
All of a sudden, it is showing a weird list of reminders. I can change it
back but it won't save that format and each time I go back, it's reverted to
what I don't want. Outlook 2003. I can send a screen capture if that would
help.
