When I joined a new firm I transfered my calendar to my new computer.
It seems that my appointments are now locked on ther forever and that it has something to do, I surmise, with not longer being on the exchange server where they were created. How do I get rind of them? I've tried deleting and get no error message but they remain. I've changed the recurrance to anything different yet they remain. Any suggestions? Thanks, Leah |

I have a similar problem except that I moved my old calendar on my new
computer, now running VIsta and Office 2007. One one recurring appointment reminder keeps coming up. When I try to dismiss it, it says that the appointment can no longer be found so it cannot be dismissed. It also says that I "may be reminded again"...and of course, I am, every time I open Outlook. I can reschedule the reminder out two weeks, but that does little good, as every time a new reminder pops open the window, this problematic reminder remains on the list. Any ideas of how to elminate this reminder other than delete this calendar and start over? "Brian Tillman" wrote: Leah wrote: When I joined a new firm I transfered my calendar to my new computer. Any ideas of how to elminate this reminder other than delete this calendar and start over? Have you tried starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command switch? If you're using a PST, you can always start with a clean PST and/or clean mail profile and that certainly will start Outlook fresh. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
