I have just upgraded to Office 2003 and in my Outlook Calendar Month view,
the 'Go to today' highlight is a wishy washy silver which is difficult to pick out.from my white background. Is there a way to change the colour to something a bit bolder. I can't find anything in the options menu or on the web. -- (\__/) (='.'=) (")_(") |

No.
You can add an icon to the button name - view, toolbar, customize... right click on the button and either choose image or edit image. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "PhredBear" wrote in message ... Thanks Diane but I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear.
I meant the bar at the top of the selected cell, today, in the calendar grid. Meanwhile, I have discovered that it is a function of the 'Theme' setting in the Win XP display properties. I can make it a mucky orange brown but I don't like the rest of the changes to my desk top so I will just have to live with it the way it is. Thanks anyway. "Diane Poremsky" wrote in message ... I found a good way of highlighting today's appointments in weekly and monthly view using conditional formatting:
. go to Edit - Automatic Formatting . click Add . in the Name field enter "Today" . in the Label field choose a color . click on Condition... . on Appointments and Meetings tab where it says Time: . choose "starts" . choose "today" . click OK . click OK |
