Default new event with the same start/end time ?

how can i do new default event with the same start and end time without my
own change end time. i need new event, where will be end time the same as
start time, because i prefer short entry without end time in month view. when
the end time is the same as start time, end time disapear form month view.
thanks for any ideas...
