How to get rid of Name displayed in meeting request
I just switched to Office 2007 (from 2003) and noticed that all my meeting
requests now display my name on them on my calendar. It looks like this: 8:30am Meeting @ Office; Victor; I want to turn this feature off as it is just extra information taking up space on my calendar. Is there a way to turn this off? |

I'm very serious and I have no idea why they thought people wanted it as it
is the source of major complaints - right behind calendar printing. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Victor" wrote in message ... I'm stuck looking at my name all over my calendar? I like to keep it as streamlined as possible and this is really distracting. I wish there was at least an option to turn this 'feature' off. |

see http://support.microsoft.com/gp/vista_supoffnew for support
information - you can open a support incident for your complaint. while I will mention it to them, opening an incident has the best chance of getting it fixed - if enough people complain. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Victor" wrote in message ...
