Brian:
mine is a little different ... I click on New Appt and NOTHING HAPPENS. Not sure when this started but about a week ago suddenly my Mail started acting weird -- deleted are not cleared (yes it is checked to delete on close) and my backups do not run (add-in) for either my Personal and Archive folder. I did run REPAIR today and it still will not allow me to add an appt. SP3 is loaded ... Thought I would update where I am.
When I begin Outlook I get a message that Inbox Assistant can not be displayed due to unexpected error. My Calendar reminders is not working. It does not delete messages in DELETED folder when EXIT .. yes, it is marked, has been since original installation. I have the Add-on to backup both my Personal and Archive (I added) folders once a day but it has not backed up for a week. My Maxtor external backup program says there is a problem with both Personal and Archive PST files and gives it an 'internal error'. I have gone through repair process twice I cleared cache but did not change so deleted the file. Forms tells me it can not load any forms. Was there a recent automatic update? I don't know why it is acting up all of a sudden. Bonita |

Have you tried detect and repair?

Yes, and it just got worse. Now none of my alerts work so I get no notices
from my calendar. In mail, it no longer pops open to show me where new messages are, I have to open each folder to see if the sub-folders have new messages. The deleted folder does not empty (check and it is still checked). When I try to add a new appt, it tells me that I can't load forms. When I open Outlook it tells me the Inbox Assistant can not be displayed due to unexpected error. I have done 2 'detect and repair', I have cleared cache and deleted forms per your instructions and I am still experiencing all these problems. Since 'my life' is here, this is driving me nuts. ... ![]() Is there a way to get an Outlook 2003 program to install with all the updates? If I reinstall from the original, I will lose all my updates .. right?
